I know what it feels like to struggle with overwhelm and go searching for a solution.

Only a few years ago, I was right where you are.

I’ve spent over 20 years as a lawyer and professional working mom, and while I've loved both my career and my two amazing kids, I also know what it’s like to feel stretched too thin.

The overwhelm crept in slowly at first. No matter how much I planned, how hard I worked, or how organized I tried to be - I still felt scattered, exhausted,  behind and guilty. Like I was failing at everything and disappointing everyone.

So I did what most high-achieving moms do: I pushed through. Tried harder. Tried to get more organized. Told myself I just needed to be more disciplined.

But no matter what I did, I kept running into the same wall: overwhelm and exhaustion were running the show.

And the worst part? Everyone acted like this was normal.

Even doctors told me “That’s just how it is.”

But I refused to accept that.

So I went looking for answers.

I tried it all: time management books, productivity hacks, parenting tips, personal development. Some things helped. A lot didn’t. 

Yeah, some of it worked… sometimes.
But it never stuck. Overwhelm always crept back in.

The real shift happened when I discovered life coaching tools that get to the heart of why overwhelm kept showing up.

What I Learned About Overwhelm the Hard Way

Here's the truth I had to learn the hard way: You can’t “outrun” overwhelm.

For years, I tried. I optimized, organized, and powered through - only to find myself still exhausted, still stretched too thin, still exhausted.

That’s because overwhelm isn’t a time management problem. It’s a clarity problem.

When everything feels urgent and important, it’s impossible to know where to focus.

We’ve been taught that success means doing it all. And doing it perfectly.

The problem isn’t that you’re not fast enough or organized enough. The problem is you’ve been told everything matters equally.

It doesn’t. And learning how to tell the difference changes everything.

That’s the shift. It's not about cramming more in. It's about letting go of what doesn’t matter so you can finally give your best energy to what does.

This isn’t just theory for me. I’ve spent decades as a lawyer solving complex problems, managing teams, and guiding clients through high-stakes decisions. I’ve been a certified coach for over five years. And I’m a mom who’s lived the day-to-day reality of overwhelm.

Together, those experiences shaped the system I now use to help professional working moms break free from overwhelm. For good.
